About us

A dedicated unit, built for the baseball diamond

Turf Diamond is a specialized field-maintenance team that holds every field to MLB standard.

What is Turf Diamond

The team behind the surface

We are a specialized crew dedicated to baseball-field maintenance for academies in the Dominican Republic that hold themselves to MLB standard. Our work covers the playing surface end to end — the turf, the red zone, and the landscaping that frames it — under one accountable team.

The problem we solve

Challenges our clients face

Most field problems we are called to solve are not random — they are predictable, repeating, and rooted in three patterns we see across the industry.

  1. Inconsistent quality between visits

When maintenance is fragmented across vendors and seasonal labor, the field changes character from one week to the next — and players feel it in every grounder.

  2. Equipment and technique mismatched to the surface

Generic landscaping crews bring generic tools. A baseball diamond demands purpose-built equipment, knowledge and a trained crew who understand the difference between a lawn and a sports field.

  3. No accountable reporting

Without structured records of what was done, when, and why, complex directors are left guessing about the state of their own surface.

How we work

Turf Diamond's solution

We replace improvised field care with a documented, MLB-aligned operating model — the same model behind every result you will see across the site.

  1. One accountable team, five service lines

Every service line is run by a single coordinated team rather than separate subcontractors. The handoffs disappear because there are none.

  2. MLB-standard playbook on every field

Mowing patterns, clay moisture, fertilization windows, and irrigation cycles all follow a written standard — calibrated to your turf type and play calendar.

  3. Transparent reporting through Asana

Every task, schedule, and field condition is tracked in Asana and shared with the client. You always know what the crew did, what they found, and what is next.

Our team

How we are organized

Turf Diamond runs as a tight, accountable hierarchy — a single director, three operating supervisors, an agronomy lead, and an administrative manager. Each node below represents a real role on the team; the names are confirmed as roster onboarding completes.
